White Oak Canyon Falls in Shenandoah National Park

Well, I was gonna upload a short video clip from “Nicholas Nickleby”, the play that Mitchell landed the lead role from his Summer drama camp, but you can’t upload videos with the free version of WordPress.

Two weekends ago we camped out at Big Meadows in Shenandoah National Park. On Saturday, we hiked all 3 levels of White Oak Canyon Falls. Very nice. On the way back, we gathered wood for a campfile WAY before we got to the end of the trail. It began pouring rain shortly after we gathered our sticks. Made for an “interesting” walk to the car.

God Bless all who read this! Hope to be posting again soon, but it’s after midnight on a school night, so I must be going to bed.

Thanks, Amy! Looks like you had a camping trip of your own! We PLANNED to blog more often, but we just switched computers, have been doing a lot of vacationing, yadda, yadda, yadda. Comments like yours give us the incentive to keep blogging! Congrats to the teenager!
